Ho Chi Minh City will launch a high-speed boat route connecting Bach Dang Wharf in Ben Nghe Ward and Tam Thon Hiep Terminal in Binh Khanh Commune (formerly part of Can Gio District) to enhance waterway transportation and tourism.
The plan proposed by Can Gio Urban Tourism JSC, authorizes GreenlinesDP vessels[1] to operate on the new route. The company is required to upgrade infrastructure to accommodate boats carrying up to 151 passengers and to ensure compliance with safety standards.
In addition, local authorities will support the development of essential facilities such as waiting areas, restrooms, and parking spaces, while operations must be conducted in a manner that minimizes disruptions to nearby residents.
