A Thai well-known diary brand, plans to establish its first manufacturing plant in Vietnam, in the southern part of Dong Nai Province. The company recently signed a long-term lease for nearly 35,000 square meters of land in the An Phuoc Industrial Park, with the lease term extending to 2062.
Betagen Vietnam[1] specializes in importing and distributing Betagen’s probiotic fermented dairy products. In this market segment, Betagen competes with major brands in Vietnam, namely Yakult, Vinamilk, TH True Milk, and FrieslandCampina. According to Mr. Kitti Sawangarom, CEO of Betagen Vietnam, the construction of the company’s first manufacturing plant in Vietnam marks an important step in its regional expansion and reinforces its long-term commitment to the country. An Phuoc Industrial Park was selected for its strategic location, approximately a 60-minute drive from Ho Chi Minh City, close to Long Thanh International Airport, and well connected to major highways and key seaports.
Dong Nai continues to lead the Southern Key Economic Region in industrial development and remains one of the top destinations for newly registered manufacturing-related FDI projects. Betagen’s investment reflects the confidence of foreign manufacturers in the region’s potential. Additionally, Vietnam’s developed infrastructure, competitive supply chains, and skilled workforce continue to attract global producers, particularly in the food and beverage sector.
