On 19 December 2025, the Sub-division B Project of Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park in Da Nang City was officially launched, as one of the 234 large-scale projects eligible for commemoration of the 14th National Party Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The project covers an area of 346 hectares with a total investment of over 128 million USD. This represents the largest project in terms of both scale and total investment among the key projects selected by the city to commemorate such important event.
The project prioritizes the attraction of investment in information technology, electronics, and telecommunications; deep processing of silica-based products; and the processing of medicinal herbs and agricultural products for export, while explicitly excluding industries that pose a high risk of environmental pollution. It also aims to develop a comprehensive and integrated infrastructure system, promote the on-site deployment of renewable energy sources such as solar power and other forms of green energy, reduce emissions, enhance energy efficiency, and create competitive advantages for export-oriented enterprises targeting markets with stringent environmental standards.
Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park is oriented toward development under an eco-industrial park model, integrating advanced technologies, notably digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence (AI), and modern data centers, to meet the requirements of high-tech and advanced manufacturing industries.
The Da Nang City People’s Committee designated the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone Management Board as the focal point to coordinate with the project developer and relevant departments and agencies, ensuring that all necessary conditions are in place for construction to commence immediately following the groundbreaking ceremony.
